NASPI Oscillation Detection and Voltage Stability Tools Technical Workshop was held in Houston, Texas, on October 22, 2014. NASPI appreciates the efforts made by all of the participating vendors to prepare for the workshop, run the test cases, develop their explanatory event videos, and share those videos with the NASPI community.
All participating vendors were given identical datasets for each relevant case. For each case, the vendor prepared a video clip that show essential tool capabilities and user navigation, its underlying analytical approach, and the answers the tool reached for this specific event. The videos for each case were presented at the Technical Workshop. Audience members had the opportunity to compare the technical findings, graphical interfaces and usability of each set of event videos, and to share comments on the videos. Those comments will be compiled and posted at a later date.
